This exquisite piece, a Model 1894, is engraved by the finest metal engraver of weaponry in the US. This rifle's premium burl walnut furniture is completed in 26 lines per inch razor sharp hand checkering. The buttstock's hand rubbed oil finish bears Remington's signature in deep relief, along with Remington's “Old Bill,” a multi campaign surviving cavalryman. The hammer is hand tooled in Platinum, the butt plate ebony, both heavily checkered for non-slip use.
